The Richard Mille RM63-01 "Dizzy Hands" (RM6301AORG) self-winding automatic watch features a 42.70mm 18k rose gold case surrounding a black skeleton dial on a black rubber strap with an 18k rose and titanium gold deployant buckle. Automatic winding movement with hours, minutes, rotor in 5N gold, and dizzy hands function. 50-hour power reserve. Movement diameter: 31.00 mm. Thickness: 6.675 mm. Number of jewels: 35. Balance: CuBe, 4 arms, 4 setting screws, moment of inertia 7.5 mg•cm², angle of lift 50°. Frequency: 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Balance spring: AK3. Shock protection: INCABLOC 908.22.211.100 (transparent). Escapement wheel jewels: Rubifix (transparent).
The movement is surrounded by a round design case with 18K red gold front and back bezels enclosing a central caseband of titanium. It takes an extensive series of stamping and machining operations, to say nothing of the several days of adjustments required to produce the three-part ergonomically curving case design developed by Richard Mille. Unlike the other round watches in the collection, the RM 63-01 Dizzy Hands was the very first to have a curved, round front bezel, a subtle mark of the artistry held within its sensual and unique exterior.
The case is assembled with 16 spline screws in grade 5 titanium and abrasion-resistant washers in steel 316L.
